Since I have been at college, I haven't updated in months and months. However, I plan on making a raging comeback.
Music has simply soaked into me here at college. And also, I've heard tons of excellent music taste from my roomie, who is a giant Pink Floyd fan and also likes the Grateful Dead, which are classic, classic.
So here it is, Friend of the Devil by the Grateful Dead. Chill out and and break out a banjo.
Also, while we're at the great college music area, I'd like to direct everyone to this fabulous band. They're currently traveling and their music is GREAT!! They're Grace Potter and the Nocturnals and they sound awesome!
Cheers!

Love grows in me like a tumor
I simply love this girl's voice, it's so amazing!!
If only I could possibly get to a concert!
Yes, the video is really weird since it's tilted, but the song.. just let the song soak into you.
It's a very good song for mellowing out and relaxing to...

Double feature
I had a hard time finding a good song for this morning but I am deciding to do two.
She Drives Me Crazy by Fine Young Cannibals is the first. The video is ridiculous but the beat is great. It's another in-your-face guitar morning.
And if your significant other is bugging you, simply turn this up, and let them think about what they have done.
For those of you that need to start your day softly, try this beautiful, although short, song by Cat Stevens. He has the most amazing voice. The video isn't anything, but the album cover, but it had the best sound quality.
This song to be taken with a cup of hot tea.

By the water's edge . . .
So I've uncovered another late 70s song that I didn't even realize was from the 70s at all. I really really like the guitar solo towards the end of the song.
This song is another good one for rocking out in your kitchen. Air guitar is a must.
And the video is pretty psychedelic also.

Need a morning wake-up song?
I know as much as anyone that mornings can be hard.
A good song to make you smile before 7:00 is rare to find. Anything to make me smile before 7:00 is rare to find.
However, this french pop song from 1977 is sure to make anyone laugh a little (the video is funny too if a little pixelated) .
So wake up and dance a little. I'm a firm believer in blasting music to dance to in the kitchen. Once you hear the song, you'll just have do that funny jump straight up and down with your head cocked to the side I promise you.

Enlightening music
We all need a little enlightening music. Something to lift our spirits, make us have a good cry, laugh a little, stomp our feet a little, or just dance it out.
Music helps us through everything.
This song is one of my favorites, I hope you all enjoy, shut your eyes relax to this song, and listen to the pictures that will soon float through your mind.
